Jake is the Chief Investment Officer and President of AmCap, a premier vertically integrated real estate private equity firm. Jake joined AmCap in 2005 to lead acquisitions and grow the Firm. As President, Jake heads the company’s day to day activities and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In his tenure, he has been responsible for growing the firm to over $1 Billion AUM. He has partnered with US government pensions, Ivy League university endowments, and leading institutional investors to acquire 23 properties, representing over 4.4M SQF of leasable retail space across 24 states. Jake has been investing in the commercial real estate sector since 1999 and he has handled more than $2 billion worth of real estate transactions.
